A mesh fence which includes a series of spaced vertical stay wires crossed by a series of spaced horizontal line wires, with at least some of the intersections of the stay wires and line wires secured by a knot, in which at least one of the line wires is made of barbed wire.

A mesh fence which includes;
- a series of spaced vertical stay wires;
- a series of spaced horizontal line wires that cross said stay wires and contact said stay wires at intersections, with at least some of the intersections of the stay wires and the line wires secured by a knot, in which at least one of the line wires is made of barbed wire.
