Abstract
The invention provides conjugates comprising a coagulating agent conjugated to an antibody, where the antibody specifically binds an extracellular domain epitope of a mammalian PLVAP protein. These agents specifically target HCC tumors and treat the HCC. The invention also provides methods of using these conjugates, such as methods of treating HCC by administering the conjugates provided by the invention or compositions provided by the invention, such as pharmaceutical compositions.
Claims17
A method of treating a glioblastoma tumor with human plasmalemma vesicle associated protein (PLVAP)-positive vasculature in a human subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a conjugate comprising a tissue factor (TF) comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 1 conjugated via a linker peptide to an antibody that binds an extracellular domain epitope of human PLVAP, wherein the conjugate is infused directly into one or more tumor-feeding arteries of the glioblastoma tumor, and wherein the antibody comprises:
- a) complementarity determining regions (CDRs) 1-3 of a heavy chain variable region (HCVR) comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 3, and CDRs 1-3 of a light chain variable region (LCVR) comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 4;
- or
- b) CDRs 1-3 of a HCVR comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 5, and CDRs 1-3 of a LCVR comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 6.
