Industrial robotic platforms

An autonomous digger bot for mining, the digger bot comprising:

• a frame;
• a mobility platform attached with the frame and configured to move the digger bot, wherein the mobility platform is one among a plurality of different mobility platform types with which the frame is configured to attach;
• a digger payload stack configured to break a rock face or other environmental feature of the celestial body;
• a universal platform stack supporting the digger payload stack, wherein the digger payload stack is one among a plurality of interchangeable different payload stack types that the universal platform stack is configured to support;
• and
• a control system configured to operate the digger bot autonomously in a swarm robotic system to complete a collaborative mining objective.

An autonomous mining bot comprising:

• a frame;
• a mobility platform configured coupled with the frame and configured to move the mining bot, wherein the mobility platform is one among a plurality of different mobility platform types with which the frame is configured to couple;
• a payload stack configured to perform a bot-specific mining task to interact with a rock face or other environmental feature of a celestial body;
• a universal platform stack supporting the payload stack, wherein the payload stack is one among a plurality of interchangeable different payload stack types that the universal platform stack is configured to support;
• and
• a control system configured to operate the mining bot autonomously in a swarm robotic system to complete a collaborative mining objective.

An autonomous sweeper bot for mining, the autonomous sweeper bot comprising:

• a frame;
• a mobility platform attached with the frame and configured to move the sweeper bot, wherein the mobility platform is one among a plurality of different mobility platform types with which the frame is configured to attach;
• a sweeper payload stack configured to collect broken rock face or other environmental feature of a celestial body;
• a universal platform stack supporting the sweeper payload stack, wherein the sweeper payload stack is one among a plurality of interchangeable different payload stack types that the universal platform stack is configured to support;
• and
• a control system configured to operate the sweeper bot autonomously in a swarm robotic system to complete a collaborative mining objective.
