Abstract
An adhesive patch is described that contains an improved release liner for the treatment of various skin conditions.
Claims20
An adhesive patch comprising:
- first and second backings each having first and second opposing sides;
- a therapeutic adhesive composition coated on at least a portion of the first side of the first and second backings;
- and
- a release liner covering the therapeutic adhesive composition of each of the first and second backings, the release liner comprising a weakened area extending between the first and second backings, the weakened area separating the release liner into first and second portions such that the first portion may be removed from the second portion.

A flexible adhesive patch comprising:
- first and second backings each having first and second opposing sides;
- a therapeutic adhesive composition coated on at least a portion of the first side of the first and second backings;
- and
- a release liner having a first portion covering the therapeutic adhesive composition of the first backing and a second portion covering the therapeutic adhesive composition of the second backing, wherein the first portion is removably coupled to the second portion.

A flexible adhesive patch comprising:
- a backing having first and second opposing sides;
- a therapeutic adhesive composition coated on at least a portion of the first side of the backing;
- and
- a release liner covering the therapeutic adhesive composition, the release liner comprising first and second weakened areas separating the liner into first, second and third portions that may be removed from each other, wherein the first weakened area is in contact with the therapeutic adhesive composition and the second weakened area is spaced from the therapeutic adhesive composition.
