Absorbent Body and Hygiene Article

An absorbent body comprising:

• a first nonwoven fabric;
• a second nonwoven fabric;
• and
• a super absorbent polymer layer between the first nonwoven fabric and the second nonwoven fabric,
• wherein the super absorbent polymer layer comprises a super absorbent polymer and an adhesive,
• wherein the super absorbent polymer layer is adhered to the first and second nonwoven fabrics by an adhesive, and the super absorbent polymer layer does not contain pulp, and
• the following conditions (1) and (2) are satisfied:
• (1) a retention rate obtained by measuring an amount of super absorbent polymer remaining in the absorbent body without leakage after vibrating the absorbent body 100 times at a frequency of 65 times/min and an amplitude of 15 mm is 90% or more, and
• (2) a filling rate is 90% or more, wherein the filling rate is an area of a dyed part measured with a color meter after dyeing the absorbent body with a dye and drying it to confirm that only a super absorbent polymer part is selectively dyed.
