Abstract
Apparatus and methods are described for use of a sensor for monitoring a subject generate a sensor signal in response to the monitoring. Also disclosed is a computer processor to analyze the signal, and in response thereto, identify a correspondence between positions of the subject and occurrences of health events of the subject, and generate an output on the output device, in response to the identified correspondence. Other applications are also described.
Claims20
An apparatus comprising:
- a temperature control device comprising at least first and second sections corresponding to respective portions of a body of a single subject;
- a temperature-regulation unit configured to regulate temperatures of the respective portions of the subject's body to be at respective temperatures by, simultaneously, setting a temperature of the first section of the temperature control device to a first temperature, and setting a temperature of the second section of the temperature control device to a second temperature that is different from the first temperature;
- a sensor configured to monitor the subject and generate a sensor signal in response thereto;
- and
- a computer processor configured to:
- analyze the sensor signal,
- in response thereto, identify a sleep stage of the subject, and
- in response to the identified sleep state, drive the temperature-regulation unit to regulate temperatures of the respective portions of the subject's body to be at the respective temperatures.
