Abstract
The present invention provides a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method, and a reception method that implement an appropriate random access procedure in accordance with a propagation delay between a terminal and a base station. A terminal (100) is provided with a wireless transmission unit (103) which transmits a random access channel signal, and a control unit (107) which sets, from among a plurality of preamble sequence candidates, a preamble sequence for use in the random access channel signal. At least one of the plurality of preamble sequence candidates is composed of two or more mutually different code sequences.
Claims9
A transmission apparatus, comprising:
- control circuitry, which, in operation, generates a preamble sequence for a random access channel, and
- a transmitter, which, in operation, performs a transmission of the preamble sequence over at least a first random access channel (RACH) occasion and a second RACH occasion which are in different time,
- wherein a total number of Zadoff-Chu (ZC) sequences included in the transmission is different from a total number of ZC sequences included in the transmission of another cell.
A communication method, comprising:
- generating a preamble sequence for a random access channel;
- and
- performing a transmission of the preamble sequence over at least a first random access channel (RACH) occasion and a second RACH occasion which are in different time,
- wherein a total number of Zadoff-Chu (ZC) sequences included in the transmission is different from a total number of ZC sequences included in the transmission of another cell.
A transmission apparatus, comprising:
- control circuitry, which, in operation, generates a preamble sequence for a random access channel, and
- a transmitter, which, in operation, performs a transmission of the preamble sequence over at least a first random access channel (RACH) occasion and a second RACH occasion which are in different time,
- wherein a total number of Zadoff-Chu (ZC) sequences included in the transmission is configured per a cell.
