Abstract
An image processing apparatus includes a scan unit configured to scan a document image and generate image data, an acceptance unit configured to accept setting of a condition to generate a summary based on the image data, and a transmission unit configured to transmit the generated image data and information indicating the set condition, wherein the summary generated based on the transmitted information is posted to a channel on a chat service.

An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a scan unit configured to scan a document image and generate image data;
- an acceptance unit configured to accept setting of a condition to generate a summary based on the image data;
- and
- a transmission unit configured to transmit the generated image data and information indicating the set condition,
- wherein the summary generated based on the transmitted information is posted to a channel on a chat service.
An image processing method comprising:
- scanning a document image and generating image data;
- accepting setting of a condition to generate a summary based on the image data;
- and
- transmitting the generated image data and information indicating the set condition,
- wherein the summary generated based on the transmitted information is posted to a channel on a chat service.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program for causing a computer to perform an image processing method, the image processing method comprising:
- scanning a document image and generating image data;
- accepting setting of a condition to generate a summary based on the image data;
- and
- transmitting the generated image data and information indicating the set condition,
- wherein the summary generated based on the transmitted information is posted to a channel on a chat service.
