Abstract
A tool for stripping a cable, with a cutting unit for cutting a sheath of the cable, with an alignment unit for aligning the cable for a cutting operation using the cutting unit and with a base body unit on which the alignment unit and the cutting unit are arranged. The alignment unit is configured to be adjustable to accommodate different cable diameters.

A tool for stripping a cable, comprising:
- a cutting unit configured to cut a sheath of the cable;
- an alignment unit configured to align the cable for a cutting operation by way of the cutting unit;
- and
- a base body unit on which the alignment unit and the cutting unit are arranged,
- wherein the alignment unit is configured to be adjustable so as to accommodate different cable diameters.
