An intravascular device comprising: an expandable body having an expanded configuration and a contracted configuration, said expandable body in said expanded configuration having a convex curved shape having a base and walls; and a connector; wherein said connector is attached to said expandable body and recessed within said convex curved shape.

An intravascular device comprising:
- an expandable body having an expanded configuration and a contracted configuration, said expandable body in said expanded configuration having a convex semi-spherical curved shape having a continuous arch shaped cross section;
- a support which provides a double layer to at least a portion of said expandable body
- a connector;
- wherein said connector is attached to said expandable body and to said support and recessed within the convex semi-spherical curved shape.

- an expandable body having an expanded configuration and a contracted configuration, said expandable body in said expanded configuration having a convex curved shape;
- a support which provides a double layer to at least a portion of said expandable body
- a connector,
- wherein said expandable body joins said connector from a proximal end of said connector,
- wherein said support joins said connector from a distal end of said connector;

- wherein said connector is attached to said expandable body and to said support and recessed within the convex curved shape.
