Synergistic paraffin inhibitors with high and low crystallization onset temperatures

A method of preparing a synergistic paraffin inhibitor, the method comprising the steps of:

• obtaining a high-temperature intermediate with a high crystallization onset temperature;
• obtaining a low-temperature intermediate with a low crystallization onset temperature, wherein the low crystallization onset temperature is between about 6° C. and about 30° C. lower than the high crystallization onset temperature;
• and
• mixing the high-temperature intermediate and the low-temperature intermediate.

A method of treating a crude oil with a synergistic paraffin inhibitor, the method comprising the steps of:

• preparing the synergistic paraffin inhibitor, further comprising the steps of:
• obtaining a high-temperature intermediate with a high crystallization onset temperature;
• obtaining a low-temperature intermediate with a low crystallization onset temperature, wherein the low crystallization onset temperature is within a range of between about 6° C. and about 30° C. lower than the high crystallization onset temperature;
• and
• mixing the high-temperature intermediate and the low-temperature intermediate;
• and
• introducing the synergistic paraffin inhibitor to the crude oil.
