• receiving N+1 transmission symbols of s0, s1, s2, . . . , sN, wherein 0, 1, 2, . . . , N denote indices of the transmission symbols, s0 is the reference symbol;
• the transmission symbol indexed n is determined according to an amplitude and a phase of the transmission symbol indexed n−1 and M+1 bits;
• and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1, N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, 1≤n≤N, n is an integer;
• and
• demodulating the N+1 transmission symbols to acquire (M+1)*N bits.

A method for symbol transmission, comprising,

• determining a transmission symbol, wherein at least one transmission symbol indexed n is determined according to an amplitude and a phase of a transmission symbol indexed non n, and M+1 bits;
• wherein M is an integer greater than or equal to 1, N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and n is an integer;
• and
• transmitting the transmission symbol.

A method for symbol reception, comprising,

• receiving a transmission symbol, wherein at least one transmission symbol indexed n is determined according to an amplitude and a phase of a transmission symbol indexed non n, and M+1 bits;
• M is an integer greater than or equal to 1, N is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and n is an integer;
• and
• demodulating the transmission symbol to acquire a plurality of bits for determining the transmission symbol, and the plurality of bits for determining the transmission symbol comprise the M+1 bits.
