Abstract
An example device comprising: first clock divider circuitry to be coupled to a first clock; first counter circuitry configured to be coupled to the first clock divider circuitry, the first counter circuitry configured to increment based on the first clock and a second clock; second clock divider circuitry to be coupled to a third clock; second counter circuitry configured to be coupled to the second clock divider circuitry, the second counter circuitry configured to increment based on the third clock and the second clock; and comparison circuitry coupled to the first and second counter circuitry.
Claims20
A device comprising:
- a first reference clock generator configured to provide a first reference clock;
- a second reference clock generator configured to provide a second reference clock;
- a first set of circuitry configured to determine a first count representing a number of cycles of the second reference clock within a cycle of the first reference clock;
- a second set of circuitry configured to determine a second count representing a number of cycles of the second reference clock within a cycle of a third clock;
- a threshold register configured to determine a threshold value;
- and
- comparison circuitry configured to determine whether a difference between the first count and the second count exceeds the threshold value.
A device comprising:
- a first set of circuitry configured to determine a first count of transitions of a first signal within a portion of a cycle of a second signal;
- a second set of circuitry configured to determine a second count of transitions of the first signal within a portion of a cycle of a third signal;
- and
- comparison circuitry coupled to the first set of circuitry and the second set of circuitry and configured to determine whether a difference between the first count and the second count exceeds a threshold.
A method comprising:
- generating, using a clock generator, a first signal;
- determining, using a first counter circuit, a first count of transitions of the first signal within a portion of a cycle of a second signal;
- determining, using a second counter circuit, a second count of transitions of the first signal within a portion of a cycle of a third signal;
- and
- determining, using comparison circuitry, whether a difference between the first count of transitions and the second count of transitions exceeds a threshold.
