Abstract
A hollow man sized door includes a core and an acrylic outer surface. The acrylic outer surface is seamless and solid. Mounting brackets are selectively attached to the core. Hardware is attached to the door at locations of the mounting bracket. Scratches or damage may be buffed out of or wiped from the acrylic outer surface.
Claims7
A method for forming a hollow man door, comprising:
- forming a core of metallic material;
- attaching at least one mounting brackets to the core;
- forming at least one conduit through the core;
- and
- seaming together a plurality of solid acrylic outer surfaces such that the core is disposed within the plurality of solid acrylic outer surfaces.
