Abstract
This document provides methods and materials for treating cancer. For example, foamy viruses (e.g., simian foamy viruses) are provided as well as methods and materials for treating cancer using foamy viruses as an oncolytic agent.
Claims10
A method for treating a mammal having cancer, wherein said method comprises:
- administering, to said mammal, a simian foamy virus (SFV) having oncolytic anti-cancer activity, wherein said SFV comprises a first genomic fragment of a first SFV strain and a second genomic fragment of a second SFV strain different from said first SFV strain.
