The arrester assembly may include a disconnect device electrically connected in series with the first arrester module and the second arrester module, wherein the disconnect device is electrically connected between the first arrester module and the second arrester module. The arrester assembly may include a second terminal electrically connected to the disconnect device, the second terminal electrically connected to a ground conductor.
