Image forming apparatus, processing system, non-transitory computer readable medium, and method

A non-transitory computer readable medium storing a program for controlling a computer included in an image forming apparatus, the image forming apparatus including an image forming unit transferring a toner image onto a recording medium, the toner image being formed on an image carrier by an electrophotographic system, the computer controlling an operation of the image forming apparatus, the program causing the computer to execute a process comprising:

• causing the image forming unit to perform, in predetermined order, a plurality of operations under different conditions about charging and exposure to light, the plurality of operations including at least an operation of forming a toner image on the recording medium with the image carrier having been subjected to charging and exposure to light and an operation of forming a toner image on the recording medium with the image carrier having been subjected to no exposure to light and optionally to charging;
• and
• forming margins on pieces of the recording medium in the respective operations under the different conditions, the margins having different forms.

A method for an image forming apparatus including an image forming unit, the image forming unit transferring a toner image onto a recording medium, the toner image being formed on an image carrier by an electrophotographic system, the method comprising:

• causing the image forming unit to perform, in predetermined order, a plurality of operations under different conditions about charging and exposure to light, the plurality of operations including at least an operation of forming a toner image on the recording medium with the image carrier having been subjected to charging and exposure to light and an operation of forming a toner image on the recording medium with the image carrier having been subjected to no exposure to light and optionally to charging;
• and
• forming margins on pieces of the recording medium in the respective operations under the different conditions, the margins having different forms.
