Abstract
A device for a hydraulic actuating system, e.g., a motor vehicle brake, a clutch or a gear selector, may include the following components arranged in one housing, forming a main module: at least one pressure supply device driven by an electric motor drive, and a valve arrangement comprising at least one solenoid valve. The device may further include an electrical control unit (ECU) and valve output stages and sensors. The main module may be electrically and/or hydraulically connected to at least one further system component, which system component may include an actuating device and a travel simulator.
Claims27
A device for a hydraulic actuation system of a motor vehicle brake of a vehicle, comprising:
- one or more pressure supply devices, each driven by a respective electric motor drive;
- a valve arrangement with at least one solenoid valve and hydraulic connections for two or four wheel brakes;
- a control unit configured to control the at least one solenoid valve and the electric motor drive;
- wherein the one or more pressure supply devices, the valve arrangement, and the control unit are integrated into a first housing to form a main module, which is adapted to be arranged remotely from a bulkhead of the vehicle;
- wherein the device further comprises an actuation unit with a brake pedal, wherein the actuation unit is arranged in a second housing and is adapted to be attached to the bulkhead of the vehicle;
- wherein the main module is hydraulically connected to the actuation unit.
