Abstract
A teaching device for an industrial machine includes a program creation unit that generates a program creation screen for creating a program for the industrial machine; a comment setting unit that accepts a setting for comments relating to instructions that make up the program; and a comment display switching unit that switches between display and non-display of a set comment on a display screen.

A teaching device of an industrial machine comprising:
- a program creation unit configured to generate a program creation screen for creating a program of the industrial machine;
- an annotation setting unit configured to receive setting of an annotation related to a command constituting the program;
- and
- an annotation display switching unit configured to switch between display and non-display of the set annotation on a display screen.
