a processor; and a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: for a duration after a receipt, via the communication interface, of data associated with an event that occurred during the sporting event: determine, based on a modifier determined responsive to the event occurring during the sporting event, a modification of a first result of a live event occurring on a gaming table to a second result, wherein the first result is determined after the event occurred during the sporting event, the first result is determined independent of the sporting event and the first result is determined based on a plurality of physical objects supported by a support structure of the gaming table and associated with the live event, and cause a display, by a display device, of the second result. ### Claim 2 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the second result is determined by applying the modifier to the first result of the live event occurring at the gaming table. ### Claim 3 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the duration comprises a set quantity of live events each occurring at the gaming table. ### Claim 4 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the duration comprises a set amount of time. ### Claim 5 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the modifier comprises a multiplier. ### Claim 6 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the event that occurred during the sporting event comprises a series of events occurring during the sporting event. ### Claim 7 (depends on 6) The gaming table component of claim 6, wherein the sporting event comprises a plurality of sporting events, a first event of the series of events occurs during a first sporting event of the plurality of sporting events and a second event of the series of events occurs during a second, different sporting event of the plurality of sporting events. ### Claim 8 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the event that occurred during the sporting event comprises a portion of the sporting event. ### Claim 9 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein an attribute of the modifier is based on an attribute of the event that occurred during the sporting event. ### Claim 10 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the live event is associated with a sports team of the sporting event and the event that occurred during the sporting event comprises a part of the sporting event occurring in association with that sports team of the sporting event. ### Claim 11 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the live event is associated with a sporting event participant of the sporting event and the event that occurred during the sporting event comprises a part of the sporting event occurring in association with that sporting event participant of the sporting event. ### Claim 12 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the processor is supported by the support structure of the gaming table. ### Claim 13 (depends on 1) The gaming table component of claim 1, wherein the plurality of physical objects comprise a plurality of playing cards. ### Claim 14 A gaming table component comprising: a communication interface configured to receive data from a server associated with a sporting event data service; a processor; and a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor responsive to a receipt, via the communication interface, of data associated with an event that occurred during a sporting event, cause the processor to: for a period of time after the event occurs during the sporting event, associating a multiplier with a live event occurring on a gaming table in association with a physical object supported by a support structure of the gaming table, and for each instance of the live event occurring at the gaming table during the period of time: determine, based, at least in part, on the associated multiplier, a result for that live event, wherein the result comprises a first result determined for that instance of the live event in accordance with a schedule of the live event occurring at the gaming table and a second result determined based on the associated multiplier applied to the first result, and cause a display, by a display device of the result. ### Claim 15 (depends on 14) The gaming table component of claim 14, wherein the memory device stores a plurality of further instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to cause a display, by a first display device, of the first result and separately cause a display, by a second display device, of the second result. ### Claim 16 (depends on 15) The gaming table component of claim 15, wherein the first display device and the second display device are different display devices. ### Claim 17 (depends on 14) The gaming table component of claim 14, wherein the processor is supported by the support structure of the gaming table. ### Claim 18 (depends on 14) The gaming table component of claim 14, wherein: the live event is associated with one of a sports team of the sporting event and a sporting event participant of the sporting event, and the event occurring during the sporting event comprises an outcome of the sporting event occurring in association with one of that sports team of the sporting event and that sporting event participant of the sporting event. ### Claim 19 A gaming table component comprising: a processor; and a memory device that stores a plurality of instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to: for each instance of a live event occurring at a gaming table during a first duration after a first event occurs during a first sporting event in association with a first sports team, modify a first result determined for that instance of the live event by a first multiplier, wherein the first result is determined independent of the occurrence of the first event during the first sporting event in association with the first sports team, and for each instance of the live event occurring at the gaming table during a second duration after a second event occurs during a second sporting event in association with a second sports team, modify a second result determined for that instance of the live event by a second multiplier, wherein the second result is determined independent of the occurrence of the second event during the second sporting event in association with the second sports team. ### Claim 20 (depends on 19) The gaming table component of claim 19, wherein the first duration comprises at least one of a first set quantity of instances of the live event occurring at the gaming table, and a first set amount of time, and the second duration comprises at least one of a second set quantity of instances of the live event occurring at the gaming table, and a second set amount of time.
