Abstract
A filter includes a base material made of a porous polyurethane having a plurality of micropores and an active group fixed to a surface of the base material. The active group is capable of specifically binding to a separation target.
Claims20
A filter for capturing a separation target from a liquid comprises:
- a base material made of a porous polyurethane having a plurality of micropores;
- and
- an active group fixed to a surface of the base material and capable of specifically binding to the separation target.
A method for manufacturing a filter, comprising:
- irradiating at least a part of a surface of a base material made of a porous polyurethane having a plurality of micropores with plasma;
- bringing a compound A having an epoxy group and an ethylenically unsaturated group into contact with the base material after irradiating at least the part of the surface of the base material to bind the compound A to the base material;
- bringing a diamine compound B into contact with the base material after the compound A is brought into contact with the base material to bind (fix) the diamine compound B to the surface of the base material via a constituent unit A derived from the compound A;
- and
- bringing biotin into contact with the surface of the base material after the diamine compound B is brought into contact with the base material to bind the biotin to the surface of the base material via the constituent unit A derived from the compound A and the diamine compound B.
2 more elements
A filter for capturing at least one separation target of a liquid, the filter comprising:
- a first filter unit configured to capture a first separation target, the first filter unit including
- a first base material made of a porous polyurethane having a first plurality of micropores, and
- a first active group fixed to a surface of the first base material and capable of specifically binding to the first separation target;
- and
- a second filter unit located upstream of the first filter unit, the second filter unit configured to capture a second separation target, the second separation target being different from the first separation target, the second filter unit including
- a second base material made of a porous polyurethane having a second plurality of micropores;
- and
- a second active group fixed to a surface of the second base material and capable of specifically binding to the second separation target.
