Abstract
Provided herein are dosage forms and kits comprising angiotensin II that are suitable for the treatment of low blood pressure. In particular, dosage forms and kits that facilitate the ability to rapidly prepare angiotensin II for IV infusion into a subject.

A dosage form for formulating an intravenous infusion treatment of distributive shock in a human patient comprising:
- an amount of human angiotensin II or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (5-L-isoleucine angiotensin II) disposed within a hermetically sealed vial for formulating an intravenous infusion treatment of the patient;
- wherein the amount is about 0.5 to about 20 mg of human angiotensin II in the dosage form, and wherein the dosage form is sterile.
A dosage form for formulating an intravenous infusion treatment of distributive shock in a single human patient comprising:
- comprising an amount of human angiotensin II or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof (5-L-isoleucine angiotensin II) disposed within a hermetically sealed vial for formulating an intravenous infusion treatment of the patient;
- wherein the amount is about 0.5 to about 20 mg of human angiotensin II in the dosage form, and wherein the dosage form is sterile.
