Abstract
Provided are a method and apparatus for determining the number of coded modulation symbols for uplink control information (UCI) when transmitting, in a wireless communication system, the UCI via a transport block processing over multiple slots (TBoMS) PUSCH to which TBoMS has been applied. The number of coded modulation symbols for the UCI is determined on the basis of the total number of bits being transmitted via the TBoMS PUSCH, and a value obtained by multiplying the number (Z) of slots configured for the TBoMS PUSCH by the sum of the number of resource elements that can be used for the transmission of the UCI in OFDM symbols for the TBoMS PUSCH in one slot through which the UCI is transmitted, from among the multiple slots.
Claims14
A method for a user equipment (UE) to transmit uplink control information (UCI) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- determining a number of coded modulation symbols of the UCI;
- and
- transmitting the UCI on a transport block processing over multi-slot (TBoMS) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmitted through a plurality of slots,
- wherein the number of the coded modulation symbols of the UCI is determined based on i) a value obtained by multiplying a sum of a number of resource elements that can be used for transmission of the UCI in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols from symbol index 0 to NPUSCHsymb,all−1 in one slot with the UCI transmission among the plurality of slots by a number of slots (Z) configured for the TBoMS PUSCH and ii) a total number of bits transmitted through the TBoMS PUSCH, and
- wherein the NPUSCHsymb,all is a total number of OFDM symbols of a PUSCH in the one slot.
A user equipment (UE) comprising:
- a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a radio signal;
- and
- a processor operating in connected to the transceiver,
- wherein the processor is adapted to:
- determine a number of coded modulation symbols of uplink control information (UCI);
- and
- transmit the UCI on a transport block processing over multi-slot (TBoMS) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmitted through a plurality of slots,
- wherein the number of the coded modulation symbols of the UCI is determined based on i) a value obtained by multiplying a sum of a number of resource elements that can be used for transmission of the UCI in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols from symbol index 0 to NPUSCHsymb,all−1 in one slot with the UCI transmission among the plurality of slots by a number of slots (Z) configured for the TBoMS PUSCH and ii) a total number of bits transmitted through the TBoMS PUSCH, and
- wherein the NPUSCHsymb,all is a total number of OFDM symbols of a PUSCH in the one slot.

A base station comprising:
- a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a radio signal;
- and
- a processor operating in connected to the transceiver,
- wherein the processor is adapted to:
- transmit downlink control information indicating a number of slots (Z) of a transport block processing over multi-slot (TBoMS) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to a user equipment (UE);
- and
- receive uplink control information (UCI) through the TBoMS PUSCH transmitted through a plurality of slots from the UE,
- wherein a number of the coded modulation symbols of the UCI is determined based on i) a value obtained by multiplying a sum of a number of resource elements that can be used for transmission of the UCI in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols from symbol index 0 to NPUSCHsymb,all−1 in one slot with the UCI transmission among the plurality of slots by a number of slots (Z) configured for the TBoMS PUSCH and ii) a total number of bits transmitted through the TBoMS PUSCH, and
- wherein the NPUSCHsymb,all is a total number of OFDM symbols of a PUSCH in the one slot.
