Systems and methods for voice communication routing

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a request to establish a telecommunication link with a destination phone number;
• transmitting the received request to establish the telecommunication link to the destination phone number via a session initiated protocol (SIP) trunk;
• determining that the request to establish the telecommunication link via the SIP trunk failed;
• and
• transmitting, via a communication channel other than the SIP trunk, the received request to establish the telecommunication link to a separate destination based on a predetermined routing protocol.

A system comprising:

• a data storage device storing processor-readable instructions;
• and
• one or more processors operatively connected to the data storage device and configured to execute the instructions to perform operations including:
• receiving a request to establish a telecommunication link with a destination phone number;
• transmitting the received request to establish the telecommunication link to the destination phone number via a session initiated protocol (SIP) trunk;
• determining that the request to establish the telecommunication link via the SIP trunk failed;
• and
• transmitting, via a communication channel other than the SIP trunk, the received request to establish the telecommunication link to a separate destination based on a predetermined routing protocol.
