Abstract
The present disclosure provides TrkA antibodies, compositions comprising such antibodies, and methods of using such antibodies for the prevention and/or treatment of a disease or disorder associated with an inappropriate expression or function of TrkA, such as pain.
Claims33
An antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof, having one or more properties selected from the group consisting of:
- 1) is capable of specifically binding to TrkA;
- 2) is capable of competing with NGF for binding to TrkA;
- 3) is capable of activating TrkA signaling;
- 4) is capable of inducing membrane TrkA internalization;
- 5) is capable of mitigating CFA-induced pain sensitization;
- and
- 6) is capable of inhibiting NGF-dependent signaling.
