Abstract
A terrazzo product including a first primer layer on an upper surface of a concrete substrate; a second primer layer on the first primer layer; a seed layer on the second primer layer, the seed layer including one or more of sand and shot; a terrazzo layer on the seed layer, the terrazzo layer including, by weight, 57% calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement, 29% white milk glass, and 14% of one or more of broken mirrored glass and colored glass; a first joint filler in one or more cuts formed in the terrazzo layer; a concrete densifier within one or more of the first joint filler, the terrazzo layer, the seed layer, the second primer layer, the first primer layer, and at least a portion of the concrete substrate; and a sealer on the terrazzo layer and the first joint filler.
Claims20
A terrazzo product comprising:
- a first primer layer on an upper surface of a concrete substrate;
- a second primer layer on the first primer layer;
- a seed layer on the second primer layer, the seed layer comprising one or more of sand and shot;
- a terrazzo layer on the seed layer, the terrazzo layer comprising, by weight, 57% calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cement, 29% white milk glass, and 14% of one or more of broken mirrored glass and colored glass;
- a first joint filler in one or more cuts formed in the terrazzo layer;
- a concrete densifier within one or more of the first joint filler, the terrazzo layer, the seed layer, the second primer layer, the first primer layer, and at least a portion of the concrete substrate;
- and
- a sealer on the terrazzo layer and the first joint filler.
