## Abstract

A device providing ocular photo-bio-stimulation therapy.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A device for providing extended reality, comprising a light source providing light to stimulate a retina of an eye of a user of the device, wherein the light is chosen to result in a physiological response in the user's eye or a body of the user, wherein the device causes the user to see a first lighted image and a second lighted image with a user's same eye, wherein the device projects the first lighted image having light wavelengths that are substantially within a wavelength range comprising at least one of 480 nm+/−30 nm, 475 nm+/−20 nm, 530 nm+/−20 nm, or 650 nm+/−30 nm, wherein at a same time as the user fixates on the second lighted image with the user's same eye, the first lighted image paints light wavelengths that are substantially within the wavelength range comprising at least one of 480 nm+/−30 nm, 475 nm+/−20 nm, 530 nm+/−20 nm, or 650 nm+/−30 nm, across or on different areas of the retina of the user's same eye.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first lighted image is a virtual image.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the second lighted image is a real image.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first lighted image is a real image.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the second lighted image is a virtual image.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first and the second lighted images are virtual images.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the device is one or more of augmented reality eyewear, mixed reality eyewear, virtual reality eyewear, and modified reality eyewear.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the device comprises a see-through near eye display.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the device comprises a non-see-through near eye display.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the XR device comprises an electronic display comprised of a plurality of pixels.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the device comprises a waveguide.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the device comprises a microlens array.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the first lighted image is defocused light.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the first lighted image is diffused light.

### Claim 15 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the first lighted image is focused light.

### Claim 16 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the first lighted image is filtered light.

### Claim 17 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the second lighted image is focused light.

### Claim 18 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the second lighted image is defocused light.

### Claim 19 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the second lighted image is diffused light.

### Claim 20 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the light of the second lighted image is filtered light.

### Claim 21 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first lighted image is stationary/non-moving.

### Claim 22 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the second lighted image is moving.

### Claim 23 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first lighted image is moving.

### Claim 24 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the second lighted image is stationary/non-moving.

### Claim 25 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the second lighted image is red, black, or grey.

### Claim 26 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, wherein the first lighted image and the second lighted image are generated using light from a same light source or at least two different light sources.

### Claim 27 (depends on 1)

The device of claim 1, further comprising a filter or filters, wherein the light generating the first and/or second lighted images is filtered by the filter or filters, and wherein the filter or filters is one or more of: a bandpass filter, an interference filter, an absorption filter, a selective wavelengths filter, a notch filter, or a neutral density filter.

### Claim 28 (depends on 1)
