Abstract
A radial head assembly is provided that includes a collar, an articular member, an articular head component, and stem that is configured to engage the articular head component. The articular member at least partially defines an articular space within the collar when disposed in the collar.
Claims20
A radial head system, comprising:
- a collar comprising a collar wall defining a first collar opening, a second collar opening, and a passage extending between the first collar opening and the second collar opening, the collar wall having an interior collar surface comprising a collar engagement feature disposed proximate to the first collar opening;
- and
- an articular member comprising:
- a first concave surface;
- and
- a second concave surface disposed at an end of the articular member opposite from the first concave surface;
- and
- a peripheral surface disposed between the first concave surface and the second concave surface;
- wherein the articular member at least partially defines an articular space within the collar when the peripheral surface of the articular member is disposed in the collar.

A system, comprising:
- a radial head including:
- a collar having a collar wall defining a first collar opening, a second collar opening, and a passage extending between the first collar opening and the second collar opening, the collar wall having an interior collar surface comprising a collar engagement feature located adjacent to the first collar opening;
- an articular member including first concave surface, a second concave surface disposed at an end of the articular member opposite the first concave surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the first concave surface and the second concave surface;
- and
- a locking ring including a first ring wall defining a first ring opening and a first ring slot, the first ring slot configured to enable the first ring wall to expand radially,
- wherein the articular member at least partially defines an articular space within the collar when the peripheral surface of the articular member is disposed in the collar.
