Abstract
According to one embodiment, there is provided an image forming apparatus including a conveyance unit, a detection unit, an image forming unit, and a control unit. The conveyance unit is configured to convey a print medium to which a wireless tag is attached and on which wireless tag position information indicating a position of the wireless tag is formed. The detection unit is configured to detect the wireless tag position information formed on the print medium. The image forming unit is configured to form an image on the print medium. The control unit is configured to control the conveyance unit and the image forming unit based on the wireless tag position information detected by the detection unit.
Claims19
An image forming apparatus, comprising:
- a conveyance component configured to convey a print medium to which a wireless tag is attached and on which wireless tag position information indicating a position of the wireless tag is formed;
- a detector configured to detect the wireless tag position information formed on the print medium;
- an image forming component configured to form an image on the print medium;
- and
- a controller configured to control the conveyance component and the image forming component based on the wireless tag position information detected by the detector.
A wireless tag position information forming apparatus that forms wireless tag position information indicating a position of a wireless tag on a print medium to which the wireless tag is attached.
A print medium, comprising:
- a substrate print medium;
- a wireless tag attached to the substrate print medium;
- and
- wireless tag position information indicating a position of the wireless tag formed on the substrate print medium.
