Abstract
A shoe saver, for reducing the wear on the foot used for the gas and brake pedals when driving. The shoe saver includes a base shaped similarly to the back of the sole of a shoe, and a vertical portion following the arc of the heel but not the remainder of the base. A strap is used to hold the shoe saver to the ankle of the user.

A shoe saver, comprising a base and a vertical portion, wherein the base is flat and includes a rectangular section and an arc which is convex relative to the rectangular section, and the vertical portion follows the arc and has a flat top and sides.
