Abstract
A silencer unit for a compressed-air system of a commercial vehicle, in particular a compressed-air brake system of a commercial vehicle, has at least one interface for connection to the brake system, in particular to an outflow duct of the brake system. The silencer unit has at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet, wherein the air outlet in the assembled state and the state of the silencer unit connected to the brake system, has an orientation which is not oriented vertically downward in the direction of the ground. A splashguard element is provided about and/or on the air outlet. Further, a compressed-air system for a commercial vehicle and a commercial vehicle are disclosed having a silencer unit.

A splashguard cover for a silencer unit of a compressed-air system of a commercial vehicle, comprising:
- walls of the splashguard cover which are disposed in a pagoda-shaped manner;
- and
- outlet openings which are, in each case, provided between the walls.
