Abstract
Provided is a carbon dioxide absorber comprising a polyether compound, wherein the polyether compound contains an average of 50 or more repeating units represented by General Formula (1) set forth in the description per molecule, and the polyether compound contains a repeating unit represented by General Formula (2) set forth in the description as at least part of the repeating units represented by General Formula (1).

A carbon dioxide absorber comprising a polyether compound,
- wherein the polyether compound contains an average of 50 or more repeating units represented by General Formula (1) below per molecule, and
- the polyether compound contains a repeating unit represented by General Formula (2) below as at least part of the repeating units represented by General Formula (1):
- (where in General Formula (1), A represents a monovalent group);
- and
- (where in General Formula (2), A′+ represents a nitrogen-containing cationic group;
- and in General Formula (2), X− represents an anion).
