Abstract
Provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure is a method for determining a resource. The method is executed by a network device. The method comprises: determining a predetermined resource according to predetermined information, wherein the predetermined information indicates that a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) is to be provided or not to be provided to a first-type terminal, and the predetermined resource comprises at least one of the following: a common frequency resource (CFR), or an initial downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP) for use by the first-type terminal.

A resource determining method, wherein the method is performed by a network device, and comprises:
- determining a first resource according to first information;
- wherein the first information indicates:
- providing a multicast and broadcast service (MBS) to a terminal of a first type or not providing the MBS to the terminal of the first type;
- and the first resource comprises at least one of:
- a common frequency resource (CFR), or an initial downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP) used by the terminal of the first type.
A method for monitoring a multicast and broadcast service (MBS), wherein the method is performed by a terminal of a first type, and comprises:
- performing a processing operation for the MBS according to a configuration result of a first resource;
- wherein the first resource comprises at least one of:
- a common frequency resource (CFR), or an initial downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP) used by the terminal of the first type;
- and the processing operation comprises:
- monitoring the MBS or not monitoring the MBS.

- a processor connected to the memory and, by executing an executable instruction stored in the memory, configured to:
- determine a first resource according to first information;
- wherein the first information indicates:

- and the first resource comprises at least one of:
