Signal transmission method and related apparatus

A method, wherein the method comprises:

• sending resource allocation information, wherein a quantity of physical resource blocks allocated by using the resource allocation information is even;
• determining the allocated physical resource blocks based on the resource allocation information;
• and
• performing transmission of a reference signal on a part of subcarriers in the allocated physical resource blocks.

A communication apparatus, wherein the communication apparatus comprises:

• a transceiver, the transceiver configured to obtain resource allocation information, wherein a quantity of physical resource blocks allocated by using the resource allocation information is even;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory coupled to the at least one processor and storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
• determine the allocated physical resource blocks based on the resource allocation information;
• and
• perform transmission of a reference signal on a part of subcarriers in the allocated physical resource blocks.

A communication apparatus, wherein the communication apparatus comprises:

• a transceiver, the transceiver to send resource allocation information, wherein a quantity of physical resource blocks allocated by using the resource allocation information is even;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory coupled to the at least one processor and storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
• determine the allocated physical resource blocks based on the resource allocation information;
• and
• perform transmission of a reference signal on a part of subcarriers in the allocated physical resource blocks.
