Communication method and communication apparatus

A communication apparatus, comprising at least one processor and one or more memories coupled to the at least one processor, wherein the one or more memories store programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

• obtaining first information, wherein the first information is different from second information, the first information is used to determine a start time of a first timer in a first hyper system frame, and the second information is used to determine a start time of a first timer in a second hyper system frame;
• and
• determining based on the first information and a first parameter, the start time of the first timer in the first hyper system frame, wherein the first parameter is drx-StartOffset, and the first timer is a discontinuous reception on-duration timer.
