Abstract
This communication device comprises: a control unit that sets information relating to multiband and/or multichannel communication in an extended field of a beacon signal; and a communication unit that transmits the beacon signal.

A communication apparatus, comprising:
- circuitry, which in operation, generates a first beacon signal including a first SSID (Service Set Identifier) and a second beacon signal including a second SSID;
- and
- a transmitter, which in operation, transmits the first beacon signal on a first frequency band and the second beacon signal on a second frequency band,
- wherein a same number is configured between the first SSID and the second SSID.
