Abstract
A communication method includes obtaining, by a communication apparatus, first information associated with at least one network. The first information includes an authentication mechanism supported by each of the at least one network. The communication method also includes obtaining, by the communication apparatus, a target authentication mechanism based on an authentication mechanism supported by the communication apparatus, the first information, and a network in which an application function (AF) is located. The at least one network included the network in which the AF is located. The communication method further includes establishing, by the communication apparatus, a secure communication connection to the AF by using the target authentication mechanism.
Claims20
A communication method, comprising:
- obtaining, by a communication apparatus, first information associated with at least one network, wherein the first information comprises an authentication mechanism supported by each of the at least one network;
- obtaining, by the communication apparatus, a target authentication mechanism based on an authentication mechanism supported by the communication apparatus, the first information, and a network in which an application function (AF) is located, wherein the at least one network comprises the network in which the AF is located;
- and
- establishing, by the communication apparatus, a secure communication connection to the AF by using the target authentication mechanism.
A communication apparatus, comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory storing instruction that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the communication apparatus to:
- obtain first information associated with at least one network, wherein the first information comprises an authentication mechanism supported by each of the at least one network;
- obtain a target authentication mechanism based on an authentication mechanism supported by the communication apparatus, the first information, and a network in which an application function AF is located, wherein the at least one network comprises the network in which the AF is located;
- and
- establish a secure communication connection to the AF by using the target authentication mechanism.
