Systems and methods for preventing corruption of user profiles

A method comprising:

• generating a first set of rules for a first user profile based on a history of user interface interactions with a plurality of internet content items tracked while an application on a user device was logged into the first user profile;
• receiving a user interface interaction with at least one internet content item while the application on the user device is logged into the first user profile;
• and
• based at least in part on the first set of rules, determining that the user interface interaction with the at least one internet content item is not consistent with the history of user interface interactions with the plurality of internet content items tracked for the first user profile;
• and
• based at least in part on the determining:
• providing for output an option to log the application on the user device into a second user profile.

A system comprising:

• control circuitry configured to:
• generate a first set of rules for a first user profile based on a history of user interface interactions with a plurality of internet content items tracked while an application on a user device was logged into the first user profile;
• input/output circuitry configured to:
• receive a user interface interaction with at least one internet content item while the application on the user device is logged into the first user profile;
• and
• wherein the control circuitry is further configured to:
• based at least in part on the first set of rules, determine that the user interface interaction with the at least one internet content item is not consistent with the history of user interface interactions with the plurality of internet content items tracked for the first user profile;
• and
• wherein the input/output circuitry is further configured to:
• based at least in part on the determining. provide for output an option to log the application on the user device into a second user profile.

A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions encoded thereon that, when executed by control circuitry, cause the control circuitry to:

• generate a first set of rules for a first user profile based on a history of user interface interactions with a plurality of internet content items tracked while an application on a user device was logged into the first user profile;
• receive a user interface interaction with at least one internet content item while the application on the user device is logged into the first user profile;
• and
• based at least in part on the first set of rules, determine that the user interface interaction with the at least one internet content item is not consistent with the history of user interface interactions with the plurality of internet content items tracked for the first user profile;
• and
• based at least in part on the determining. provide for output an option to log the application on the user device into a second user profile.
