Abstract
The present disclosure generally relates to synchronizing copies of a data object.
Claims12
A method, comprising:
- by a first electronic device:
- receiving an indication that a second electronic device is viewing a copy of a data object without editing the copy of the data object, wherein the second electronic device is different from the first electronic device;
- after receiving the indication that the second electronic device is viewing the copy of the data object without editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device;
- while synchronizing, at the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device, receiving an indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object;
- and
- in response to receiving the indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a second rate of synchronization different from the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device.
3 more elements
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of a first electronic device, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- receiving an indication that a second electronic device is viewing a copy of a data object without editing the copy of the data object, wherein the second electronic device is different from the first electronic device;
- after receiving the indication that the second electronic device is viewing the copy of the data object without editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device;
- while synchronizing, at the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device, receiving an indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object;
- and
- in response to receiving the indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a second rate of synchronization different from the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device.
2 more elements
A first electronic device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- receiving an indication that a second electronic device is viewing a copy of a data object without editing the copy of the data object, wherein the second electronic device is different from the first electronic device;
- after receiving the indication that the second electronic device is viewing the copy of the data object without editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device;
- while synchronizing, at the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device, receiving an indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object;
- and
- in response to receiving the indication that the second electronic device is editing the copy of the data object, synchronizing, at a second rate of synchronization different from the first rate of synchronization, the copy of the data object with the second electronic device.
