A battery and a power consuming device are provided. The battery includes a battery module and a case, where the battery module includes multiple battery cells electrically connected, a shell of each of the multiple battery cells is made of an insulating material, and the case is provided with a cavity configured to accommodate the battery module and the case is made of an insulating material.

- a battery module, comprising multiple battery cells electrically connected, wherein a shell of each of the multiple battery cells is made of an insulating material;

- a case, provided with a cavity configured to accommodate the battery module and the case is made of an insulating material.
