Abstract
A method for dynamically generating a tile of a unified tile pyramid including a set of orthomosaics captured by one or more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) includes receiving, by a server and from a user device, a request for the tile of the unified tile pyramid; determining, by the server, a set of tile pyramids that overlap the tile; generating, by the server, the tile of the unified tile pyramid based on determining the set of tile pyramids; and providing, by the server and to the user device, the tile of the unified tile pyramid, wherein the user device is configured to display the tile based on receiving the tile from the server.
Claims20
A method of generating an updated unified tile pyramid, the method comprising:
- receiving a new orthomosaic captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV);
- generating a new tile pyramid based on the new orthomosaic;
- determining whether a new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps an existing tile of an existing tile pyramid stored in a database;
- and
- generating the updated unified tile pyramid based on determining whether the new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps the existing tile of the existing tile pyramid.
A system for generating an updated unified tile pyramid, the system comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a new orthomosaic captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV);
- generating a new tile pyramid based on the new orthomosaic;
- determining whether a new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps an existing tile of an existing tile pyramid stored in a database;
- and
- generating the updated unified tile pyramid based on determining whether the new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps the existing tile of the existing tile pyramid.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors for generating an updated unified tile pyramid, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receiving a new orthomosaic captured by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV);
- generating a new tile pyramid based on the new orthomosaic;
- determining whether a new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps an existing tile of an existing tile pyramid stored in a database;
- and
- generating the updated unified tile pyramid based on determining whether the new tile of the new tile pyramid overlaps the existing tile of the existing tile pyramid.
