• at least one memory and at least one processor which function as:
• an activation unit configured to activate, by using the first program, the second program by an activation instruction executed by the first program;
• a first execution unit configured to execute, by using the second program, setup processing which is processing for setting up a communication apparatus external to the information processing apparatus;
• a receiving unit configured to receive, by using the second program, a close operation for closing the second program after the setup processing has been executed;
• a second execution unit configured to, based on the second program, which has activated by the activation instruction executed by the first program, being received the close operation, execute, by using the second program, transmission processing, which is processing for transmitting to the first program information related to the setup, and close processing, which is processing for closing the second program;
• and
• a third execution unit configured to, based on the second program, which has activated without the activation instruction being executed by using the first program, being received the close operation, execute, according to the second program, the close processing without executing the transmission processing.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a first program and second program different from the first program configured to cause a computer to:

• activate, by using the first program, the second program by an activation instruction executed by the first program;
• execute, by using the second program, setup processing which is processing for setting up a communication apparatus external to the information processing apparatus;
• receive, by using the second program, a close operation for closing the second program after the setup processing has been executed;
• based on the second program, which has activated by the activation instruction executed by the first program, being received the close operation, execute, by using the second program, transmission processing, which is processing for transmitting to the first program information related to the setup, and close processing, which is processing for closing the second program;
• and
• based on the second program, which has activated without the activation instruction being executed according to the first program, being received the close operation, execute, by using the second program, the close processing without executing the transmission processing.
