Vaporizer heater and temperature sensing element

A cartridge for a vaporizer, the cartridge comprising:

• a heating and temperature sensing assembly of a vaporizer device configured to heat a vaporizable material, the heating and temperature sensing assembly comprising:
• a support plate comprising a first side and a second side opposing the first side, wherein a first side of the support plate is in direct contact with the vaporizable material;
• a heating element including a first electrically conductive pathway extending along the first side of the support plate, the heating element configured to heat the support plate for heating the vaporizable material;
• and
• a temperature sensing element including a second electrically conductive pathway extending along the first side of the support plate, the temperature sensing element configured to sense a temperature of the support plate;
• wherein the temperature sensing element at least partially surrounds the heating element.

A vaporizer device, comprising:

• a cartridge comprising:
• a heating and temperature sensing assembly configured to heat a vaporizable material, the heating and temperature sensing assembly comprising:
• a support plate comprising a first side and a second side opposing the first side, wherein a first side of the support plate is in direct contact with the vaporizable material;
• a heating element including a first electrically conductive pathway extending along the first side of the support plate, the heating element configured to heat the support plate for heating the vaporizable material;
• and
• a temperature sensing element including a second electrically conductive pathway extending along the support plate, the temperature sensing element configured to sense a temperature of the first side of the support plate,
• wherein the temperature sensing element at least partially surrounds the heating element;
• and
• a vaporizer body removably coupled to the cartridge, the vaporizer body comprising a controller configured to collect the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing element and control the heating element.
