Abstract
A room-temperature-curing resin composition, which contains in specific ratios (A) an organic polymer in which molecular chain ends are capped by hydrolyzable silyl groups and/or hydroxysilyl groups and (B) a hydrolyzable organosilane compound represented in general formula (1) below and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof (where R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having a carbon number of 1-10, n is 1-8, and m is 3 or 4), has equivalent or superior curing properties compared to conventional alcohol-release or oxime-release room-temperature-curing resin compositions even if various catalysts are used, can reduce harmful effects on humans and environmental load, and can provide a cured rubber product after curing having favorable rubber properties, adhesion, and durability.
Claims19
A room temperature curable resin composition comprising:
- (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolymer whose molecular chain end is blocked with a hydrolyzable silyl group and/or a hydroxysilyl group and whose polymer main chain is other than an organopolysiloxane;
- and
- (B) 1 to 40 parts by weight of a hydrolyzable organosilane compound of the following general formula (1) and/or a partial hydrolytic condensate thereof:
- wherein R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, n is an integer of 1 to 8, and m is 3 or 4.
