## Abstract

Rotary-wing aircraft, comprising: a drive motor (12) with a motor output shaft (12-3), a transfer gearbox (14) having the motor output shaft (12-3) as an input and having a first output (14-1) and a second output (14-2), a cockpit with associated cockpit electronics, a rotary wing with rotor and blades, a tail and tail rotor (20) with a drive shaft (20-1) for driving the tail rotor, and a skids unit with equipment suited to the intended application, characterized in that the motor shaft (12-3) of the motor (12), the transfer gearbox (14) with its second output (14-2) and the drive shaft (20-1) that drives the tail rotor (20) are aligned.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A rotary wing aircraft, comprising:
a drive motor (12) with a motor output shaft (12-3),
a transfer gearbox (14) having the motor output shaft (12-3) as an input and having a first output (14-1) and a second output (14-2),
a cockpit (22) with cockpit electronics,
a rotary wing (16) with rotor (16-1) and blades (16-2),
a tail (18) and its tail rotor (20) with a drive shaft (20-1) for said tail rotor, and
a skids unit (24) with equipment suited to the intended application,
characterized in that the drive shaft (12-3) of the motor (12), the transfer gearbox (14) with its second output (14-2) and the drive shaft (20-1) of the tail rotor (20) are aligned.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein it comprises a structural core (10) and in that said structural core is monolithic.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein the structural core (10) is made of carbon-fiber composites.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein the structural core (10) comprises lateral housings suitable for receiving the fuel tanks required by the drive motor (12).

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, characterized in that wherein the skids unit (24) is connected to the structural core (10) by quick-release fasteners.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein the tail (18) comprises a connecting flange (18-1) and the structural core (10) comprises an attachment flange (10-5) suited to cooperate with said connecting flange (18-1).

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein the structural core (10) comprises a cradle (12-1) for receiving the drive motor (12).

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The rotary-wing aircraft according to claim 1, wherein the motor output shaft (12-3) of the motor (12), the transfer gearbox (14) with its first output (14-1) to the rotary wing (16) and its other output (14-2) to the tail rotor (20) are in the same plane.
