Abstract
Disclosed are salmon interferon sequences useful as adjuvants in fish vaccines. Also disclosed are fish vaccines utilizing said interferon sequences and methods for prevention of fish infections utilizing these vaccines.

- 6 or 50 or an amino acid sequence that is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:

- 50 wherein said nucleic acid sequence is 65-90% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 18 or 65-90% identical to SEQ ID NO:
- 19, and wherein codon frequency is preserved in said nucleic acid sequence.
