Abstract
An electronic device may include: a curved surface; a flexible display including a flat area and a bending area, the bending area configured to move along the curved surface; and a supporting structure including a plurality of bars spaced apart from each other on a rear side of the bending area of the flexible display, wherein a width of a center portion of at least one bar from among the plurality of bars is larger than a width of an end portion of the at least one bar.
Claims20
An electronic device, comprising:
- a curved surface;
- a flexible display comprising a flat area and a bending area, the bending area configured to move along the curved surface;
- and
- a supporting structure comprising a plurality of bars spaced apart from each other on a rear side of the bending area of the flexible display,
- wherein a width of a center portion of at least one bar from among the plurality of bars is larger than a width of an end portion of the at least one bar.
A display assembly of an electronic device, comprising:
- a flexible display comprising a flat area and a bending area, the bending area configured to move along a curved surface;
- and
- a supporting plate comprising a first surface on a rear side of the bending area, a portion of the supporting plate corresponding to the bending area comprising at least one stretchable area and at least one support area that are alternatively arranged,
- wherein the at least one stretchable area comprises a plurality of holes or slits, and
- wherein a central portion of the at least one support area has a larger width than a width of an end portion of the at least one support area.
A display assembly, comprising:
- a flexible display comprising a flat area and a bending area, the bending area configured to move along a curved surface such that the flat area moves toward or away from the curved surface in a first direction;
- and
- a supporting structure comprising a plurality of bars spaced apart from each other in the first direction, the plurality of bars positioned in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction of the bending area of the flexible display,
- wherein a width of a center portion of at least one bar from among the plurality of bars is larger than a width of an end portion of the at least one bar, and
- wherein the end portion is on a side of the center portion in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction.
