Abstract
An optical fiber cable includes: a plurality of optical fibers; a cable sheath covering the plurality of optical fibers; and a plurality of tension member groups embedded in the cable sheath. Each of the plurality of tension member groups includes at least one tension member. In a cross section of the optical fiber cable perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber cable, roundness of the cable sheath is 85% or more.

An optical fiber cable comprising:
- a plurality of optical fibers;
- a cable sheath covering the plurality of optical fibers;
- and
- a plurality of tension member groups embedded in the cable sheath,
- wherein each of the plurality of tension member groups comprises at least one tension member, and
- wherein in a cross section of the optical fiber cable perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the optical fiber cable, roundness of the cable sheath is 85% or more.
