Method for determining battery level status

A terminal device, comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor in communication with the memory, the at least one processor configured, upon execution of the instructions, to perform the following steps:
• determining a battery protection voltage parameter based on battery usage data, wherein the battery usage data reflects a usage status of a battery within a preset time period, and the battery protection voltage parameter is used to change an original voltage parameter corresponding to a battery level, or the battery protection voltage parameter is used to change one or more original battery voltages corresponding to the battery level;
• determining a second mapping relationship between an actual battery level and a target battery level based on the battery protection voltage parameter;
• and
• determining the target battery level based on the second mapping relationship and the actual battery level of the battery.
