In particular, a protective armor liner comprising a viscoelastic material and graphene nanoplatelets. Also described is a protective armor comprising a protective armor liner disposed therein or disposed thereon, wherein the protective armor liner comprises a viscoelastic material and graphene nanoplatelets.
